The Senior Systems/Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of various technology related services that support our firm.

Essential Functions:

- Develop project plans and status reports for senior management

- Plan, design, and maintain the company's current and future system's architecture

- Collaborates with other team members, software engineers, business analysts, and other company stakeholders to gather requirements and implement systems to meet business and technical objectives, SLAs, availability needs, and capacity requirements including high availability, farms/clusters, and disaster recovery

- Support and improve current systems platform, applications, and services by recommending and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems

- Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and administering VMware, Windows Servers 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory, data archiving, and other enterprise services and technology

- Works on multiple projects as a project team member and as a project leader

- Participates in all phases of IT systems development, deployment, configuration, and monitoring including performance and availability, alerting, data integrity, security and capacity planning

- Perform upgrades to Windows Servers and applications, such as; Email, Database servers, Windows operating systems, Web servers, and other business application systems

- Previous experience with computer imaging or software deployment applications; (SpecOps, SCCM)

- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and administer Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and other enterprise services

- Investigates and resolves problems involving complex systems and/or network issues requiring no supervision

- Architect Desktop/Laptop imaging and application deployment solution

- Documents network and server architecture, solutions, enhancements, and cross trains others as needed

- Assist in establishing standards, policies, and procedures as they apply to the use of Company technologies

- Previous experience writing scripts (VBscript, Batch, PowerShell, other)

- Provide tier 3 helpdesk support, responding to escalated user-submitted tickets

- Previous Exchange 2016 administration experience. (PowerShell etc.)

- Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in a related field or equivalent work experience required

- Minimum 3 years of System Administration experience required; 6 years preferred

- At least one technical certification (e.g., MSCE, MCITP, MCSA) preferred

- Proven experience in Microsoft technologies; Windows Server 2003/2008/2012,2016 Active Directory & Domain architecture, System upgrades and migration

- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

- Team oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision

- Proven analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Must be able to travel based on business needs
