We need you to be a part of our scrum team supporting our client in Austin, Texas!
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, you will work closely with the customer support team to triage, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve API issues with multiple applications in a production environment. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with our engineering and QA teams to help drive best practices and work towards issue resolution.

Major focus on prioritizing, scheduling and troubleshooting ongoing production support issues.
Must have strong organization and communication skills, and be able to thrive in a dynamically changing environment.
Collaborates with customer call support and internal engineering resources. - Able to work effectively within a larger team comprised of individuals with different skillsets.
Researches and works with team to analyze, design, develop, and test long-term solutions for ongoing production issues.
Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.
Follows the software development lifecycle process.
Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
Strong Backend development experience with Node.JS and Microservices
Strong Backend development experience with ORM, REST APIs, SOAP
Experience with JWT, XML. JSON
Experience with Unit testing (any one of Mocha, Chai, etc.) and BDD (Cucumber)
Experience with PostgresSQL
skills: Preferred Qualifications
Build tools (NPM, etc.)
Source control - Git/GitHub
Experience with Ruby is a plus
Experience working within Agile framework
