Azure Cloud Administrator

job summary:
The Cloud administrator will be viewed as the subject matter expert and advisor who will provide guidance around cloud initiatives and who will be able to implement these initiatives. And to work with suppliers to configure and maintain the cloud platform, and master all aspects regarding cloud provisioning to ensure seamless delivery of cloud services to the business. Key responsibilities

- To deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services using infrastructure as code.

- To manage, support, optimize and operate the SKF cloud and digital infrastructure, monitoring the performance (SLA - service level agreement) across processes and vendors, along its total lifecycle.

- To proactively manage operational reliability, reducing incidents implementing proper Problem Management process follow-up and recommended solutions.

- To advise and recommend on potential improvements, and challenge suppliers to adapt and introduce them.

- To collaborate on the development of cloud initiatives by defining its content and associated delivery processes, while balancing business requirements and sophistication of the solution against associated cost and performance levels.

- To implement effective and efficient analysis, diagnosis and reporting technologies/processes within the cloud environment as defined by the development and services teams within the Hosting and Cloud Operations organization.

- To follow management instructions and procedures; to report Environment Health and Safety (EHS) risks and EHS related incidents; to follow quality specifications and requirements, and identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement.

- To enable sharing of synergies, knowledge and resources with SKF coworkers and colleagues.

- To facilitate incident management training and/or documentation to technical support agents and/or solution owners.

- To be able to work independently with positive problem solving and innovative attitude.

- To be willing to travel as needed (estimated 25%).

Knowledge and experience required: Education University degree in computer science or equivalent. Competencies Solid project management skills, excellent communication skills, fluently speaking English. Business skills, IT skills, contract management skills and skills as described in our Competence Management tool. Specific experience

- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, Intune, and O365.

- 3 years minimum experience with Azure Cloud Platform.

- 3 years minimum experience with Exchange Online, Windows servers, Active Directory and VMware products.

- Experience with MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure).

- Experience with PowerShell. - Knowledgeable or experienced in implementing No-Ops/AI Ops automation tools and/or similar cloud-native tools (desired).

- Knowledgeable or experienced in the use of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and DevOps methodology (desired).

- IPv4 Networking to include switching, routing, DNS, VPN, and security/ firewalling (desired).

- LAN/WAN network troubleshooting (desired).

- HTTP/HTTPS/SSL (desired).

- Experience in managing multi-cloud infrastructures (AWS and Azure preferred).

- Familiar with Agile development methodology (desired).
