Software design engineer II

job summary:
Software Design Engineer II needed for contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, extend and build CI and CD pipelines !!!
  • Design, implement, and manage reliable build/deployment/test automation systems
  • Monitor official builds and drive infrastructure issues to resolution
  • Use tools such as Azure DevOps, CloudTest, and Git to improve and speed up delivery of our products and services
  • Participate in release process and contribute to tooling improvement
  • Develop software tools and/or services to evolve engineering systems
  • Continuously improve the developer experience through strategic partnerships
Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience building continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines in Azure DevOps (previously known as VSTS or TFS)
  • Strong development skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Self-driven, can work independently and is capable of dealing with ambiguities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience creating dashboards using PowerBI or similar tools
  • Scripting experience (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
Top 3 must-have hard skills

  • Oversee Builds and Release exp. 3+
  • Improving Product ci/cd 3+
  • Experience creating dashboards using PowerBI or similar tools 3+
