Service Desk

job summary:
Looking for a Service Desk professional to start immediately. Experience managing Incidents and Service Requests, and also handles communication with the end-user. The Regional Service Desk receives all calls, e-mails and walk-ins, and monitors alerts on events prioritizing and categorizing incidents, escalating incidents, and providing updates to the customer and IT group(s) on the progress of resolving reported events. Key Activities: - Ensures that all Service Requests and Incidents processes are delivered according to client need and within Service Level Agreement (SLA) - Enter high quality, relevant remarks, in laymen's terms, into the Client Logbook section of Omnitracker - Proactively manage the ticketing environment and assume end-to-end ownership of service interruptions, escalations and other high priority issues - Responsible for Incident analysis directly after incident is logged, in an attempt to provide a first time fix - Initiate requests for service from Regional and International IT teams to drive fast resolution of logged incidents and service requests - Ensure Major and Mass Incident processes are followed - Manage Aged Ticket Report - review and to initiate/take appropriate action where needed

The Regional Service Desk receives all calls, e-mails and walk-ins, and monitors alerts on events prioritizing and categorizing incidents, escalating incidents, and providing updates to the customer and IT group(s) on the progress of resolving reported events. The Service Desk retains predominant process control through its knowledge repository, process workflows, and information distribution lists.
