Project Manager

job summary:
Web Developer needed for contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

  • You are an experienced Technical PM that will work closely with UX designers and engineers on our team as well as those of our partners to coordinate efforts and track the backlog of our cross-organizational tooling work.
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Write project briefs and align team on project goals/schedule
  • Use data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
  • Maintain a regular rhythm of reporting how projects are tracking against business objectives
  • Create and maintain backlog in VSO (in collaboration with engineering)
  • Coordinate sprints and office hours
  • Improve processes around efforts to plan, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust software systems and services to support our cross-organizational prototyping efforts
Qualifications

  • Write project briefs and align team on project goals/schedule
  • Create and track design tasks using VSO, work with team to ensure work is on track
  • Use user feedback/usage data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
  • Maintain a regular rhythm of reporting how projects are tracking against business objectives
  • Drive internal dev efforts
  • Maintain dev backlog and manage work across a small team
  • Coordinate design sprints and other collaborative working sessions
  • Improve processes around asset management for videos, presentations, product designs and other design collateral
  • Ensure we are telling our story effectively with measurable business impact through status reporting and regular management checkins
  • Act as change agent to identify and drive improvements and transformation across the design process space (together with our cross-functional partners)
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities from multiple design and partner teams
Skills

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of program/product management, project management
  • Contagious passion and enthusiasm for facilitating great design work
  • Experience using customer feedback/data to drive product/process improvements
  • Strongly preferred: prior client experience, experience with VSO/TFS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence and negotiate across organizational boundaries
  • Outstanding partnering and collaboration skills, system level thinking, enabling and leveraging organizational assets
