SimCorp Dimension Consultant/Developer

job summary:
Position is to work for Client Projects.Client is the Vice Presidency performing treasury functions for the Client and for other members of the Client Its activities are organized and grouped along three segments: asset management, banking and debt management, and capital markets services. We are designing/developing interface between trading, settlement and valuation applications using SimCorp Dimensions for Treasury Investment Management team.

The specific assignment is to develop SimCorp Dimension interfaces to help with the data migration and integration work.

General Accountability:

The candidate would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality.

Scope of Work

- Develop SimCorp based application interfaces.

- Maintain and enhance current applications interface.

- Recommend solutions that can be implemented, after review by team.

- Make changes to code, perform unit testing, and assist the business team in user acceptance testing, adhering to all change management policies and procedures.

- Responsible for functional and technical documentation.

Skill Set Requirements:

- 4-6 years of relevant experience as an interface developer.

- Hands-on SimCorp Dimension experience is a must for this role

- Knowledge of the SimCorp Dimension IMS framework functionality

- Knowledge of Bloomberg AIM integration using XML/MQ

- End-user support experience on the client-side

- Excellent understanding of asset classes and how end-users use Dimension

- Strong general knowledge of asset management operations

- Intimate familiarity with the Dimension data model

- Willing and able to share knowledge and train colleagues in an efficient and structured manner

- Able to deliver Dimension enhancements by designing and building interfaces, reports, batch jobs, and modifying configurations

- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) preferred

- Working technical knowledge of programming languages, including C# (.NET Framework 4.0 or later) and APL, F# a plus

- Able to create database schemas, objects, packages that represent and support business processes using Oracle 12c database as the backend.

- Strong unit test and debugging skills

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git or SVN}}

- Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts is a plus
