job summary:
As the Principal Agile Engineer / Pega Lead Solution Architect, you are responsible for architecting and designing business applications. In addition, Principal Agile Engineer defines and promotes adaptation of best practices, provides consultative guidance and recommendations on pragmatic solutions to solve complex business requirements within the context of one or more scrum teams. In this role you will be part of the Product Acceleration team that is responsible for delivering Lease lifecycle focused products and innovative solutions. The various initiatives for the team affect multiple business units, large end-user populations, corporate client delivery, applications, and other areas of solution delivery within the organization. As such, this position is critical to ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are engaged in evaluating the optimal solution design to meet the complex business needs. The position requires someone with excellent communications skills (verbal and written), works well under pressure, and effectively work with disparate teams throughout a diverse business community. This position requires extensive knowledge of scrum/agile methodology. The knowledge of IT processes and supporting technologies, and how these technologies integrate within projects and the existing environments is a must.

responsibilities:
  • Drive the vision and innovation, standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support Process Management and Automation solutions
  • Work as a key member of the Solution Architecture and Engineering team to develop Process Management and Automation Solutions using Pega PRPC, Pega Customer Service Framework and development tools and technologies for the core leasing operations
  • Develop the application architecture for workflow solutions, and support implementation by multiple Pega development teams, including integration of other Pega application
  • Validate that core administration and workflow technical solutions can be practically executed, properly integrate with the existing application portfolio, and coordinated with enterprise strategies and roadmaps
  • Work with Product Owner and cross-functional development team to support business value delivery
  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps that demonstrate how the Process administration and automation within Operations will be executed
  • Collaborate with development and support teams in solving business needs with optimal technical solutions
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and communicate long term vision and comprehensive strategic plans for enterprise process architecture and supporting infrastructure
  • Develop comprehensive strategic reference architectures for process architecture disciplines
  • Partner with Business and IT leaders to convert business needs into strategic capabilities and assets
  • Serve as the technical expert for enterprise wide Process management and automation domains
  • Oversee systems design and architecture through leadership participation in architecture reviews
  • Create and maintain standards for development and design techniques
  • Plan and integrate the work activities of virtual IT teams
 
qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical or Business subjects

· 10 years of Information Technology experience with Pega platform

· 7 years experience in Pega Rules process Commander

· 5 years experience with complete life cycle of Pega rules configuration, customization and deployment in Agile/SCRUM based development & delivery environment

· Ability to provide Pega thought-leadership across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements

· Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features

· Possesses a deep understanding of enterprise software patterns and how they may be leveraged within PRPC

· Pega CLSA Certification

· Works in conjunction with Team Management to size, manage scope and risk

· Experience using Jira software
