Team Lead, Identity Governance

job summary:
Our client in Central Austin is looking for an experienced Identity Governance Team Lead. Provides technological, business and strategic guidance and leadership. Responsible for the coaching, mentoring and professional development of Team Members. Identifies opportunities for enhancing the Technology organization's capabilities to support and achieve overall business objectives. Develops and oversees the execution of Technology strategy and road-maps as it relates to architecture, software development and software delivery to maximize systems, applications and infrastructure quality and efficiency.

Prioritizes initiatives and projects based on their impact to the organization, resource requirements and cost restraints. Viewed as a change agent and champion of our vision, mission and values. Keeps current with technical and industry advances and may represent our client with external industry boards or organizations.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Identity Governance and Administration solutions or Privileged Access Management

Experience with budget development and financial analysis

Experience recruiting and leading highly skilled technical team members with a focus on active career development

Experience working with teams that follow the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery methodology

Experience thriving in a highly dynamic, evolving organization

responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of technical IGA solutions that align to technology and business strategy

Partner with Technical Architects to develop technology strategy and technology roadmaps to support evolving business needs, balancing immediate needs and long-term demands

Coach team members, helping create and shepherd career development based on individual motivations and company needs

Demonstrate client Core Values and leadership principles

Provide clear and effective communication with all levels of the organization

Lead security projects from initial conception through design, testing and implementation

Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment within the team, with enterprise architects, Infrastructure, Support, and with other IT teams

Develops metrics that demonstrate the current risk state, indicators of progress, and IAM business alignment

Engages with development teams during operational security reviews and provides leadership and security design guidance

Monitors technology and security developments and ensures the company's security framework follows industry best practices

Plays a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally

  • Experience level: Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Education: No Degree Required
 
skills:
  • Privileged Access Management Tools (5 years of experience is required)
  • SAFe Agile (2 years of experience is preferred)
