Our Major Financial client is seeking a Database Administrator Specialist.

Admin and maintain Oracle 12c, 19c, DB2 RDBMS Databases across all life cycle environments such as Production, UAT, Development and DR;
Install, upgrade and configure the Oracle 12c,19c; RAC, Golden Gate, OEM
Oracle *Hands ON* Upgrade from Oracle 11g, 12c to Oracle 19c with AD Integration & Solution
Oracle AD Integration using Security options like Kerberos, PKI & Userid filter
Oracle Security and Best Practices in implementing CIS Benchmarks and STIG's
In-Flight Encryption using Native and 3rd party tools and solutioning
Expertise *Hands On* knowledge AWS Cloud Native tools - Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Aurora
Proactively monitor cluster health and perform performance tuning activities;
Collaborate with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product;
Perform capacity planning and expansion activities working across Infrastructure and other Enterprise Services teams;
Perform cluster maintenance with patching, backup/recovery, user provisioning, automation of routine tasks, troubleshooting of failed jobs, configure and maintain security policies;
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, and create and test backups;
Establish and maintain security and integrity controls; Propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system;
Deliver Database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, and perform needs assessments;
Work with developers / programmers to understand the potential architectural impact of different database strategies;
Provide database deliverable's, such as conceptual design, logical database, capacity planning, external data interface specification, data loading plan, data maintenance plan, and security policy;
and, Interact with senior personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines; and, Other duties as assigned.
Oracle 12c, 19c Certification is a plus along with AWS Certification as SysOPS Administrator
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field followed by five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with Oracle, IBM DB2-UDB and Tools and database development and support.
Experience must include:
- 7 years of experience with Enterprise level Oracle 12c, 19c and IBM DB2 11.x
- 5 years of experience in Oracle 13c OEM, Golden-gate, PeopleSoft Tools
- 3 years of experience with RDBMS technologies, such as Oracle & UDB
- 5 years of experience with High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Storage technologies, including data replication using golden gate, Data Guard (Standby) and RAC Clustering
- 5 years of experience with Linux/Unix and Amazon Linux 2 image

skills: Expert on Oracle Database Administration and hands on DB2-UDB Experience
