PegaSystems eBusiness Consultant

job summary:
The role will involve working with an Agile team to set up a new application on the Pega Platform. Proven PegaSystems background / knowledge is highly desirable. Agile background is required.

Acts as a liaison between client area, technical organization, and other affected areas by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved through strategic eCommerce-based solutions (e.g., Intranet and Internet).

Responsible for analysis needed for User Stories based on business needs and development capabilities. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes and recommending new e-commerce solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities. May work directly with senior management.: 5+ years experience in internet/ intranet-based business systems or e-business consulting.

The Business Systems Consultant manages the capture, analysis, documentation, and communication of business requirements for digital projects, working in an Agile environment.

This role includes creating project management documentation including Business Requirements Definition documents, Functional Design documents, Use Cases, Business Workflow Process Models, Business Rules, and Report Specifications. This role will work closely with project and product management resources, business users, development, support, and technical teams in various virtual locations.

responsibilities:
- Ability to work in an Agile environment

- Translate complex business needs into business requirements / user stories

- Ability to learn applications supported in order to provide true end-to-end analysis from user processes, purposes of applications, data requirements and final design to support needs / user stories

- Partner with technical teams to ensure the business requirements are clearly documented and enable the delivery of high quality solutions which deliver on the business objectives

- Partner with stakeholders and product management to ensure all business requirements are represented and integrated

Mandatory Skill sets:

- MS Visio

o Creating process flow diagrams, cross functional process flows

- Usage of JIRA

o Creating user stories (high level process description from an end-user perspective)

- Microsoft Word

o Creating business process documentation (website form content entry)

- Microsoft Outlook

o Scheduling and hosting meetings (create agenda, invite participants, moderate the conversation, capture meeting notes)
