Currently sourcing for a Cloud Engineer to work in Merrimack, NH.

This team is responsible for the design, implementation and development of developer portal for digital assets within the organization. Our mission is to enable application teams to list and consume digital assets like APIs, SDK, blueprints, etc.

The Purpose of Your Role

As an Engineer with Digital Exchange you will work to focus on building a portal to manage all Digital assets for the enterprise. This role is passionate about hands-on development and delivery, which requires a combination of both good technical and interpersonal skills, as well as participation in architecture, design and analysis activities.

Implementing commit, acceptance and release capabilities from roadmap across Digital Exchange with reference pipeline

Actively participating in planning, definition, design & integration of pipeline services releases working with other BU SME's/Architects as required to assure consistency of product development and adoption of the product asset base across the product line

Working closely with internal APS teams in technology selection, evaluation, policy recommendation and configuration and provide appropriate pipelines to address deployment patterns needed

Participating in defining the technical & coding standards and guidelines for the team or group as well as implementing a strong internal DevOps process

Actively monitoring and participating in external IT resources and communities and sharing knowledge with various architect communities

Participating in critical problem solving and advanced technical troubleshooting to assist the organization; driving resolution to technical issues; lead and perform impact analysis

Building relationships with development teams with quick alignment of value and understanding of the business and technology

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, Masters a plus
  • 8+ years' experience in full life cycle application development
  • Understanding principles, standard methodologies and trade-offs of API based design patterns
  • Solid grasp of various programming languages
  • Extensive experience programming in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Typescript and Linux/Unix shell scripting
  • Extensive experience in building Web Portals and UX Design
  • Experience working with NodeJS, Express, MongoDB
  • Extensive experience of deploying applications into AWS Cloud platform
  • Experience with Docker/Containers a plus
  • Demonstrable experience of Angular/Bootstrap frameworks a plus
  • Experience with Apigee/API Platform a plus
  • Basic understanding of API patterns with working knowledge of user management, OAuth, JWT and security schemes.
  • Experience in automation testing using Selenium/Protractor a plus
  • Experience executing projects in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
