responsibilities:
Role responsibilities:

  • Manage highly technical teams of both individual contributors and managers
  • Craft a meaningful vision for the team, working with cross functional stakeholders
  • Provide strategic product owner oversight for multiple agile teams within the Content Collaboration organization
  • Manage prioritization, trade-offs and set appropriate expectations for delivery
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goals
  • Oversee daily activities of team and provide direction and guidance as needed
  • Work effectively and efficiently across multiple teams and organizations, building strong mutual partnerships with Support, PM, Design, Research, Sales and other engineering teams and leaders
  • Develop, coach, mentor individuals and teams and ensure high performance in a fast-paced environment
 
qualifications:
  • Proven experience setting measurable goals and metrics to drive success for teams
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, nurture developers and coach high performing teams
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams
  • Exceptional technical background in Software Engineering, preferably building cloud software at scale
  • Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department
  • Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
