Marketing Data Analyst

We have an immediate need for a marketing data analyst for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

Below are the requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3 or more years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications or project management
  • Experience in multi-channel retail industry preferred with focus in CRM or digital marketing
  • Experience with business intelligence platform required with a general knowhow of SQL language
  • Experience with MS excel and powerpoint required with good proficiency.
  • Requires attention to detail, excellent project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

responsibilities:
CRM Planning and Execution

  • Perform campaign planning and develop strategy focusing on specific outcomes such as driving customer retention, win back, basket growth etc.
  • Partners with internal teams to execute the creative and production of direct mail marketing campaigns flawlessly to meet business goals.
  • Engages in implementing test strategies, developing campaign schedules, BAU auditing, and applying critical thinking to identify and mitigate potential issues.
Campaign Management

  • Generate campaign list from campaign management platform leveraging RFM/propensity models or pre-defined list generation rules based on customer segmentation
  • Develop targeting strategy for direct mail, e-mail, or social media campaigns to assure proper targeting and share lists with respective publishers.
  • Manage internal legal and creative reviews and approvals for marketing campaigns.
  • Support marketing team with active coupon management especially ordering and maintaining log of single use coupon codes
Analytics/Business Intelligence

  • Perform data analyses and post campaign evaluations on BI platform to derive campaign performance and customer insights and publish results
  • Perform analysis or create reports leveraging business intelligence tool such as Power BI or Manthan customer 360. Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis based on business needs.
  • Generate recommendations for campaign optimizations based on analytical findings and forecast campaign results based on historical campaign performance.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3 or more years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications or project management
  • Experience in multi-channel retail industry preferred with focus in CRM or digital marketing
  • Experience with business intelligence platform required with a general knowhow of SQL language
  • Experience with MS excel and powerpoint required with good proficiency.
