job summary:
Our client is looking for several automation testers to assist with a company wide initiative of moving to the cloud. Ideal candidates for this role will have experience with automation testing of .Net applications.

work hours: 9am to 5pm

  • Serve as a primary IT & Testing resource for medium to large-sized projects
  • Create quality plan strategies
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks
  • Develop Automation scripts as feasible leveraging existing tools in the project
  • Support defect / issue resolution and retesting based on the change control
  • Provide support in getting users acceptance / approval working with the business users and other partner teams as needed
  • Maintain a log of all open items or issues and proactively problem solve to meet the project schedule on deliverables
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments
  • Expertise developing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Cucumber, with integration to Jenkins and Sauce labs
  • Able to understand CI/CD processes and in-sprint automation
  • Proven experience writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using standard & custom tools
  • Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (backend and frontend)
  • Experience testing REST services
  • Experience in Automation ATDD framework implementation
  • 5+ years of automated testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with RESTful services
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-browser UI testing
  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
  • Good understanding of multiple test automation frameworks and Dev Ops
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with others during time constraints to meet deadlines
