job summary:
ManTech is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our team in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Med-COI is the single, secure, inter-operable network enclave for joint Department of Defense (DoD) medical community communications and information technology operations. The Med-COI enclave is compliant with the Joint Information Environment Single Security Architecture and also provides segregation from Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) to support seamless interoperability with business and mission partners. The Application Migration effort is to migrate DHA clinical applications into that so the Med-COI enclave is prepped for the deployment of DHMSM's iEHR. The scope of this effort includes using existing system sustaining and maintenance contracting vehicles to support the planning, engineering, implementation, and functional testing.This effort and support centers on the roll out of the Genesis Military Health System (MHS). This role will support our travel support team that encompasses at team of 7 employees - 2 Network Administrators and 5 Systems Administrators. Travel is required at 100% rating both CONUS and OCONUS as needed or required and can expect change of duty assignment about every six weeks or more depending on support at each Army, Air Force, or Navy installation as required to support our customers' needs.

responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer software as well as maintain its integrity.
  • Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
  • Provide documentation for System Administration, as needed
  • Validate size of legacy data and appropriate sized DHA file server
  • Setup user, security groups and legacy filer information to support teams
  • Submit dual ACL legacy devices, where required
  • Run Vmover.ini script (AF sites)
  • Prepare file server permissions for Users/Departments
  • Create initial and differential copies
  • Provide access to a workstation on the legacy and med-coi network
  • Run vmover.ini script against legacy file server post DS/EM creation
  • Troubleshoot end user issues in regards to migration
  • Provide legacy data information on the file server
  • Add DaaS AD group to legacy File Server admins
  • Apply GPOs for folder redirection on legacy
  • Place legacy file server in read only
  • Create DHCP reservations and print queues on print server
  • Verify network requirements for printer vlans
  • Migrate printers to DHCP and new IP
  • Send test pages as required to printers
  • Re-map users to DHA print servers
 
qualifications:
  • Current and active Tier 5 SSBI / Top Secret Clearance
  • Current & Active Security+CE certification required
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in Systems Administration
  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred; additional 6 years of experience may be used in lieu of Bachelors Degree.
  • Requires Employee to travel 100% around the world
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
  • Ability to complete all work as a part of a team with little to no supervision or assistance
