Flight Project Manager needed for a contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

Summary:

  • Our client is looking for a Project Manager to assist with managing the short- and long-term goals of the Insider Program, including closed betas, marketing campaigns and events. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling details for multiple projects, and open to some degree of interaction with fans and customers.
  • In this role, you'll work closely with the Flight Producer, as well as internal and external teams, to ensure betas are launched and maintained successfully. You will also play a part in the continued development of the Insider community.
The day-to-day tasks will vary dependent on the title in beta and needs of the Insider Program at the time, but key responsibilities include:

  • Surfacing, tracking and reporting on the individual tasks needed to carry out a beta successfully.
  • Creating release readiness content and playbooks for the Community team to utilize when supporting the Insider Program and betas socially.
  • Coordinating cross-team to hit deadlines related to events, communication strategy, beta participation and engagement.
  • Assisting the wider Flight team by creating meeting notes and tracking actions that arise from specific meetings or discussions.
  • Providing flexible assistance for the Flight Support Coordinator and Flight Content Coordinator as needed.
Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in Project Management, or a related field that required high-level coordination (preferably in tech).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience communicating with customers who are passionate about a brand.
  • organizational skills that contribute to documenting a plan and helping others accomplish their assigned tasks.
  • Constant drive to learn and be adaptable to ever-changing surroundings and community trends.
  • Ability to work flexing hours as your project demands.
  • Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture.
The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or other project management tools
  • First-hand knowledge of the franchise
  • PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience
  • Flighting/beta experience
