Staging Coordinator

Randstad Technologies Staging Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating staging activities within the Mechanicsburg office as well as imaging/configuring computers, POS terminals, and/or other peripheral and networking hardware when required. Coordinator will float to assist in interviewing, assigning, and coordinating project technicians, budgeting, assigning and tracking project material/equipment/assets, and performing project related administrative tasks as needed. Supports the project staff by ensuring all project equipment, supplies, and kits are available for use. Must maintain inventory levels and a clean, organized, well stocked, clutter-free work area, and work under minimal supervision. Will be available for project and vendor conference calls, action item follow-ups, and required reporting. Assists in the development of presentations, reporting, and project documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Project Admin responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Receipt, recording, inspections, servicing, distributing, and managing inventory, equipment, and supplies
  • Utilize inventory management techniques to ensure appropriate inventory levels, maintain service kits, and managing staging area assignments to control costs effectively
  • Load and configure network settings, install and configure programs, and upgrade software and firmware per customer's specifications on the following equipment:
  • Laptop and desktop computers
  • Point of sale computers
  • Mobile devices
  • Point of sale peripheral devices
  • VoIP phones
  • Networking routers and switches
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Develop and manage staging/project documentation
  • Assign and track company assets
  • Utilize and manage company resource tools and applications
  • Assist in reporting activities
  • Perform project presentations/technician preparedness calls
  • Participate in staff on-call rotation
  • Attend meetings and project calls as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Required/Desired Skills:

  • 3-5 years work experience
  • Prior staging/warehousing in a technology environment
  • General knowledge of mobile devices
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills highly recommended
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing project parameters
  • Perform Quality Assurance Checks for both equipment & documentation
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved with recruiting, interviewing, reporting, and meeting administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of MS and Google Suites (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Ability to navigate web based platforms/programs
  • Prior project work a plus
