As a Program Manager on the Sales Ops team, you will be responsible for owning programs that drive efficiency and effectiveness for our sales teams and directly result in driving revenue not just long term business goals. It requires a strong operations and/or program management background, experience working in a matrixed environment, ability to prioritize amongst multiple teams, business acumen, and strong stakeholder management. This role is responsible for shoring up sales execution and capacity to ensure we have our house in order to hit the ground running in 2021. For example: Increasing sales productivity and efficiency within specific sales teams (Healthcare, SMB, etc), working directly with Product to prioritize asks directly from sellers, and take on Sales Ops team-specific initiatives to reduce manual processes by exploring opportunities to streamline or automate related to our Salesforce instance and/or other sales systems and tools. To do that, you'll need to build strong relationships with your sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders at HQ. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Lyft and its ecosystem, possess a relentless curiosity and excel at converting ideas into action.

The role is virtual during Covid-19. Once employees are back in the office, this role will be based in the SF-HQ office.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of revenue-driving projects for key stakeholder groups/teams within Lyft Business; including working directly with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to assess business needs and design and launch programs that achieve sales effectiveness and/or efficiency goals.
  • Uncover opportunities to improve sales execution and capacity optimize existing processes and solve for low hanging fruit pain points by collecting and synthesizing feedback from sales leaders, sellers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive projects in collaboration with subject matter experts within Engineering, Sales Systems and Tools, Operations, Business Analysts, Finance, Legal, Marketing, etc.
  • Assess and manage stakeholder expectations in terms of resource management and prioritization of their initiatives by short term impact to ensure we are set up for success in 2021.
  • Proactively communicate to ensure key stakeholders and decision-makers are informed on status, key milestones, potential risks and blockers.
  • Understand the key metrics defining program success and ensure leadership is provided the right information to make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform routine operational duties as needed such as maintaining project documentation.
  • 5+ years experience in operations or program management
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept at maintaining positive stakeholder relationships while making and communicating tough decisions

  • Well versed in google suite (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Experience with a range of project management tools a plus (JIRA, smartsheets, asana, trello, etc)
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (agile, waterfall) a plus
  • Start-up/tech experience preferred
