Role:

In this key leadership role as a ScrumMaster, you will act as the evangelist of all things Agile. You will apply expert

judgment to keep teams focused, remove impediments and deliver success in a fast-paced environment. You have a

strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build a delivery-focused, highly collaborative culture

within the teams.

Success in the role requires you to support and enable the success of your team, develop stellar cross-functional

relationships at multiple levels of the organization, and demonstrate strong technical skills and business acumen. You

should have a strong sense of personal accountability and be excited by the challenge of working in an Agile and

innovative environment. You should also have a proven record of success working in an Agile environment. As a

ScrumMaster, you will work to improve practices to encourage more predictable delivery, and facilitate Agile

ceremonies and planning of releases.

By anticipating and identifying impediments (systematic, behavioral, etc.) and working with the right owners to resolve

them, you will monitor team outcomes and dynamics while assisting them in improving team performance and agile

maturity. You will help with continuous development and improvement of methods. You will be a critical driver of CXE's

overall transformation to a way of working that is anchored in continuous improvement, agility, design-thinking, and

customer-centricity through teams.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Scrum process of planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives with team and Product
  • Owner.
  • Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent teams from delivering objectives
  • Lead and contribute to the decision making process and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Embrace, coach, and evangelize Agile values and principles in the team and across the organization.
  • Focus more on delivery and results rather than ideology
  • Define and refine Agile metrics to understand and communicate team performance.
  • Work with management and other leaders to continually identify and implement team process improvements
  • Provide "go to" leadership, transparency and visibility to the entire CXE organization
Experience/Skills Required

  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software development and/or infrastructure processes and lifecycle; ability
  • to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies
  • Strong technical aptitude, and experience with both application and platform components
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to
  • collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
  • Proven track record of building motivated, collaborative and productive teams, including remote team members
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes with an ability to adapt as needed
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while being flexible and responding to changing business and technical conditions
  • One or more related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP)
