Client is looking for a Jr. Project Manager to provide support within their North American PMO. This role supports a Program Manager in an SAP implementation for either the main ERP system and/or the operations system interface for the SAP ERP. This role will be 100% remote with COVID with the expectation of them being onsite PT in 2021.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity working in a PMO (enterprise level experience preferred but having midsize company exp within a formal PMO is sufficient)
  • Must have supported 1 SAP deployment from a PC or Jr PM perspective
  • Early career started. Not looking for a 10 year BA who is transitioning into a PM
  • Clarizen or Jira is a plus but not required
  • Prior training or bootcamp experience is a plus (Ie. previous boom labs consultant)
  • Professional and articulate. Very ambitious to grow their career.

responsibilities:
Basic Skills/Capabilities:

  • Builds trust within the project team (PM and workstream leads)
  • Communicates effectively with project team (PM and workstream leads)
  • Demonstrates ownership of assigned tasks and can work independent with some direction
  • Ensures the information about the project is timely, accurate, wellvalidated and distributed appropriately
  • Partners with coach or PM to make changes to the work plan to accommodate work effort, directional change and impediments
  • Identify common project risks and issues
  • Manages through limited ambiguity
  • Basic understanding of project delivery process and managing constraints (budget, time, schedule)
  • Demonstrates continual learning
A few examples of typical tasks that would be assigned:

  • Clarizen Management (Client's time tracking and project management tool) (task assignments, allocations, dates, etc.)
  • Support or lead completion of Status Reporting, Presentation/meeting Decks, Financial reporting and follow ups,
  • Administrative Tasks (i.e. setting up meetings and distributing agendas ahead of time, taking meeting notes and distributing them following the meeting, etc.)
  • Leading Meetings (if managing a workstream)
Education and Experience:

  • 35 years project team or project coordinator experience
  • High school diploma required; college degree a plus
  • Prior project management responsibility
