Customer Relations Manager

job summary:
Our client is looking for a Client Relations Manager, or Clinical Liaison for a 1yr contract in Sacramento, Ca that has the potential to go permanent. The Clinical Liaison supports the information technology of the assigned clinical departments. Responsibilities include the coordination of technological requirements of the department and the development of workflow and infrastructure to support the information technology roadmap. This position collaborates and communicates with operational, clinical, and other information technology departments regarding existing and proposed information technology needs.

The liaison will assist the clinical departments and information technology partners (IT leadership, clinical chairs and department staff) to support the department's clinical, research and administrative application environments. The liaison partners with project teams and departments to develop IT Evaluations, cash flow worksheets, requirements and project plans and will assist in the management of projects from design to deployment.

The liaison is a technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy.

As a technical leader in clinical applications, applies advanced professional concepts and extensive industry knowledge to lead and / or work on medium to large projects of broad scope and complexity. May be recognized expert of an area of focus of business in clinical applications.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive history with Radiology applications and clinical workflows, DICOM, and HL7.
  • Working knowledge of total computer environment including hardware, operating system software and application software.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, organize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and personal initiative and accept responsibility for decisions and actions.
  • Effective facilitation of collaborative decision-making.
  • Ability to learn assigned applications and meet proficiency testing requirements, and to maintain certification in assigned applications.
  • strong documentation skills and proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Broadly encompassing or highly in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty area(s). Knowledge of operations, systems and functions, including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in working with others to secure necessary information and cooperation from a variety of people.
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge and experience with respect to technologies appropriate to the healthcare, research and education industry.
  • Ability to integrate the understanding of the department's goals and objectives, commitments and projections within a service-oriented healthcare environment.

  • Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate productively with clinical users and key stakeholders at all professional and technical levels.
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills, to convey highly-technical information and instructions to all levels of clinical users and staff in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
  • Advanced analytical skills and expertise in documentation and reporting, with the ability to apply metrics, plan and implement testing systems, collect and analyze performance data, and produce substantive reports and analyses for management use.
  • Advanced ability to serve as a technical leader and information resource, and to work collaboratively with key personnel and management, providing guidance and recommendations on systems, improvements, upgrades, and industry advances and trends.
