IT Support Specialist - Alamance/Mebane

job summary:
Randstad Technologies is looking for an IT Support Engineer to be part of our client's Internal Service Desk Team in Alamance, Mebane, NC.

This is a critical role for the team and will need someone who is flexible and personable with the individuals they work with.

Ensure that daily operations of the site are supported by efficient and robust IT support

Responsibilities:

  • Incident / Request ticket resolution to SLA through global Service Desk
  • Maintain KB articles as relevant to ticket resolution and research completed
  • Operating local infrastructure in line with global standards and in cooperation with global support teams
  • Operation of local site in line with ITCC
  • Upgrading infrastructure in line with global standards on life cycle management and in cooperation with global support teams
  • Training end users in internal standards & global ways of working
  • Training end users in security awareness
  • Maintain 100% compliance with Software licensing at supported location/locations
  • Administration of logon accounts where automated provisioning processes do not exist
  • Management of applications / equipment not under global support process
  • Local data backup and recovery process
  • Local operational costs management, such as telephony, maintenance contracts
  • Refer any request for IT products that fall outside of defined standards to IT Manager and assist with request process into Build Function hopper process
Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Any Certifications in the products used within Driveline
  • ITIL Foundations Certified
  • Min 1 yrs IT support in global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a multi country user support model
  • Experience working with ITIL transition management
