As a QA Engineer, you will oversee all testing activities assigned to the team, ensure they are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality, and support the technology roadmap for the team aligned to leadership and business priorities. As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for delivery of quality technology initiatives with the following focus:

- Provide accountability for testing and quality assurance for mission critical enterprise applications

- Drive a continuous improvement mentality to deliver robust performance testing strategies and methods

- Promote excellent development practices for coded test frameworks, to include participating in code reviews and source control management

- Coordinate End-to-End testing across different product and domain teams

- Design test automation for Informatica data integration platform

- Partner with development and other team members, provide technical guidance and work closely with offshore QA teams to create agile test automation solutions, accelerating this client's SDLC processes and meeting critical business objectives.

- Maintain tools used in during test development including source control, test management and release systems

- Mentor peers and staff on test engineering for QA, network with other automation teams within client and derive automation best practices for continuous improvement.

- Partner with resources in different geographical locations and offshore vendors

Skill (Must haves) Description Level (1-5) Database:

Oracle and/or SQL Server (pl/sql or T-SQL)

3 Data: Analysis and profiling

3 Data Management: Knowledge of RDBMSs and Data warehouse and other methodologies. Familiar with unstructured data concepts

2 SQL SQL expertise

3 Skill (nice to have) ETL:

Informatica PowerCenter ETL Jira: Jira for Agile story and work management Confluence: Documentation Salesforce Sales: Cloud data objects

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 6 years of experience
