Position Summary

The Salesforce developer will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This will involve meeting with business stakeholders, project managers, analyzing project objectives, coding new Salesforce applications, creating customer workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting application errors.

This position must have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce Developer who can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that perfectly meet the evolving needs of the company. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced agile environment. This position requires design, and communication skills to effectively work with management and team members.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meeting with business stakeholders to determine CRM needs.
  • Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications in an agile environment using Scrum.
  • Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
  • Research and development of new technologies.
  • Provide insight in advanced business analysis, conduct needs assessments, configure apps, as required, and also assist in key functions involving client and staff development, training and on-going client support.
  • Providing technical oversight and guidance to team members, writing documents.
  • Partner with Development and Infrastructure teams to contribute towards IT modernization roadmap.
  • Work with other developers to define and document the systems architecture and development patterns and best practices. Mentor others in the implementation of best practices.

  • Salesforce Integrations: Rest API, SOAP and Managed Packages on force.com platform
  • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Hands-on expertise in "low-code/no-code" solutions and ability to ensure design takes full advantage of native platform configurations
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent. Salesforce Platform Developer Certificate a plus.
  • 5-plus years' experience Salesforce development leveraging Apex and Visualforce to create unique customer-based solutions
  • 2-plus years' Lightning
  • Development with Aura Component and Lightning Web Component Framework.
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms (Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, Salesforce Shield).
  • Building applications on the .Net platform in a hosted Web/SaaS environment, background in application development using Microsoft .Net and SQL Server a plus.
  • Proficiency with Web Services, SOA, REST, JSON, Azure DevOPS, Visual Studio a plus.
