Our Northern VA client is seeking a Data Analyst for a long term contract opportunity. We are seeking a skilled canidate with 3-5 years experience in data analysis using required tools with vast quantities of disparate data.
The Data Analytics Specialist will be responsible for analyzing large quantities of data to identify opportunities and respond to specific business questions. This information will drive decision making for Used Car sales, marketing and training programs. A key member of the team, this role also creates both ongoing and ad hoc reports and presentations based on departmental needs that will be shared through the Sales Operations function. Success is dependent on analytical abilities, as well as attention to detail.

Analyze vast quantities of disparate data to identify opportunities or respond to specific business questions from the Senior Manager, Used Cars.
- Data Analysis
o Evaluate market data to identify opportunities for sales growth and assist in the development of action plans to drive growth.
o Interpret and apply data trends to broad concepts; combine data sets across multiple sources; and build relevant reports to convey dealer/region/network performance.
o Product metric reporting for inventory mix, color, options to develop proper investigative reports that increase sales.
o Develop predictive modeling and forecasting of CPO claims warranty information.
o Forecast CPO subvention fund.
o Determine the specific impact programs (including incentives and training) have on sales, market share, and more at an employee, dealer, area, regional and national level, in coordination with the Training and Incentives Manager.
o Review media and website data to identify opportunities and impact, in coordination with the Senior Marketing Specialist.
- Report Creation
o Create automated sales reports to be distributed to HQ and field employees.
o Create automated reports to solve other business needs, specifically, marketing, training and incentives.
o Administer ad-hoc reporting for the regional RUCM to increase sales, identifying opportunity areas and other usable insights.
o Design and manage month-end national KPI reports and communicate results to relevant industry organizations:
