job summary:
Job Description

· Design & build of messaging infrastructure utilizing TIBCO messaging products (Rendezvous and EMS) and Hawk Monitoring

· Support & maintenance of global messaging infrastructure

· Consulting and Project engagement

· Audit reviews

· Problem management and resolution

· Troubleshooting of day-to-day issues

· Documentation of standards/procedures implementation work. .Minimum 5 years experience of using/supporting Rendezvous, EMS and Hawk in a Unix environment (preferably Linux) and Windows

- Clustering knowledge

- Networking knowledge

- Good performance monitoring and troubleshooting knowledge (using tools such as TIBCO Hawk, RAI Insight)

- Linux and Solaris unix experience

- Unix scripting experience

- Java/C programming

Required Skills

- A motivated self-starter, able to work effectively and efficiently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent organisation and planning skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and support duties

- An individual who is able and willing to take the initiative as and when is appropriate

Desired Skills

- TIBCO certification

- Knowledge of TIBCO product stack

- Knowledge of other messaging technologies such as Kafka & IBM MQ

- Java/C development

- Unix OS tuning

- Knowledge of ITIL procedures and best practices
