Software Engineer - Software Engineer III

job summary:
Software Engineering consists of the development, introduction and application of software to respond to customer requirements and to cost-effectively provide a means of analyzing, producing, distributing and storing information.Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations. Serve as consultant to management and customers regarding advanced technical studies, their potential application and the resolution of complex problems. Manage or coordinate major engineering projects of substantial impact to the company. Proactively develop and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction.

Soft Skills:

- Scrum/Agile Processes

- Ability in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions

- Evaluating IS solutions and making recommendations

- Analytical skills and an understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies

- Experience building high availability public facing web applications

Required Technical Experience:

- Source Control/Release Mgt with Git, Github, Azure DevOps

- .NET Framework (C#, MVC, Web API, .NET Core)

- SQL Server

- Rest API

Preferred Experience:

- Cloud Technologies (AWS EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, Elasticache, Lambda, API Gateway)

- Redis/NoSQL

- Contemporary web technologies (React.JS, Webpack, Babel.js, Node.js

Bonus Technology Experience:

- Apache/IIS

- Authentication/Authorization (OIDC/SAML)

- Container Technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
