Field Marketing Manager

job summary:
This role is a key member of our marketing team, which is accountable for commercial strategy execution, particularly focused on ensuring growth over 0-5 year time horizon. Marketing manager will hold accountability for strategy execution in a specified region across all strategic pillars.. In addition to the focus on a region, this role is expected to lead execution of particular market segment strategy globally that has strong association to a particular region.

In the existing core business segments, this role is responsible for strategy execution within the assigned region. Under guidance from Head of Marketing, the marketing manager will drive unit dose category growth by delivering right solution to the right customer, at the right timing, and at right price.

responsibilities:
  • Innovation funnel development

    • Translate market trends into product solutions and projects (per region, customer and category)
    • Identify customer and consumer problems and unmet needs and define innovation opportunity
    • Commercially lead opportunity assessments and new product development projects
    • Roll-out of commercialized new product into the region
    • Work with KAM to introduce to existing accounts
    • Promotion via conference, media, tradeshow, etc
  • Pricing

    • Pricing for new accounts or products (including gauge change)
  • New customer acquisition

    • Generate leads via conference, media, tradeshow, etc. in the region
    • Convert leads into commercial sales through sampling and qualification
    • Transfer converted customer to sales team
  • New market penetration

    • Segmentation and Targeting of growth geographic markets
    • Generate leads via conference, media, tradeshow, etc. in the region
    • Convert leads into commercial sales through sampling and qualification
    • Transfer converted customer to sales team
  • Diversification initiatives

    • Delivery of value proposition to target customers
    • Qualification of our offerings at customers
    • Make the first commercial sales, then transfer account to sales team
    • Identify long term market and consumer trends, unmet needs, as well as adjacent or diversification opportunities and feed back to the Innovation and Growth team.
