job summary:
Our client here in Austin, TX is looking for a 5 month contract ServiceNow Implementation Project Manager with the following skills and requirenments.
Duties:
- Manage the implementation of ServiceNow CORE and ITSM Modules as project work-streams from discovery through design, build, test, and deployment activities
- In partnership with External vendor and internal teams develop detailed implementation plans for deploying the defined ServiceNow modules including establishing key milestones, and finalizing budget/scope and high-level architecture
- Manage and motivate project team and 3rd party implementation partner to plan work assignments and schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Provide feedback early and clearly where team is not executing to deliverables to meet timelines
- Provide hands-on leadership and Project Management to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate
- Communicate project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings
Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience as PM for ServiceNow implementations, especially ground up vs. add-ons.
- Implementation of CMDB, Ticket, Incident, Change, Problem and other key ITSM processes, not just tickets
- 7+ years relevant project management experiences
- Experience in the delivery of large-scale technology transformation projects
- Need someone with extensive experience implementing all the way to finish
- Experience with hands on experience that became a PM is preferred
- Having PM experince and ServiceNow experience and ability to drive the team is key
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or MIS (looking for 10+ years of IT experience)
