Project Manager/Technology Specialist

job summary:
As the Project Manager/Technology Specialist on the HR People and Performance team, you will manage various small projects as directed by the Business Analyst Manager. You will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure requirements as prescribed in the business case are delivered. The primary role is to control the project performance (Scope, Time, Quality, Cost, Risk, Benefits) and lead the delivery of the solution. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into a HR IT design document. You will then manage the implementation of the design solution. Responsibilities will also include leading HR IT discussions with stakeholders to identify solutions to complex problems and manage the solution implementation often with the support of a cross-functional team. Your performance and effectiveness will be determined by the value delivered on the projects as per business expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the launch and flawless execution of projects from concept to end

- Lead discussions with key stakeholder to review complex problems and requests. Work closely with stakeholder to identify, design, and implement solutions.

- Develop technical solutions to problems and ensure all applicable teams are engaged in the implementation of solutions.

- Monitor all assigned tasks and projects to ensure adherence to schedule and identified solutions.

- Proactively communicate project status, issues and solutions to stakeholders. Escalate issues as needed to Business Analyst Manager.

- Assist in the preparation of presentations using Microsoft Office suite and attend or facilitate meetings as needed to support project activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in technology, business, management or relatable experience

- 5+ years of experience in a project manager/technology specialist role

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with HR Management technologies, i.e. SAP HR; Successfactors Employee Central, Recruitment, Compensation, and Performance Management

Skills:

- Stakeholder management experience

- Experience in engaging with stakeholders to lead topics, analyze business requirements, develop technical requirements, documentation, and strategy

- Project Management (life cycle/ Mergers, Divestitures & Acquisitions /cutovers/implementations

- Experience with project management tools/budgeting/communications - at multiple levels

- Technical skills i.e.: integrations, analysis, implementations (lifecycle - requirements/build/testing/ implementation; SAP/Successfactors module specific; upgrades/updates)

- Production support, customer service and communications, documentation, etc.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and other project management tools

- Experience in facilitating discussions and conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment
