Description:

  • Highly experienced technical business analyst with extensive experience in eliciting Business Requirements, performing Data Analysis and familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • The role will be responsible for documentation and writing and grooming JIRA Stories, partnering with business side Product Owner to manage team backlog; facilitating meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts; taking the lead in coordinating implementation of related activities and provide guidance and support to the other team members; participating in the end to end product lifecycle; analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. Ideal candidate will have prior experience with project management or coordinating across multiple scrum teams to ensure work is properly aligned to sprints.
  • Will be expected to quickly develop a high-level acumen and intuition for machine learning concepts, such as neural networks and deep learning.
  • Ideal candidate will have necessary skills and background to support the data scientists and development teams, ensuring the proper model documentation is produced.
  • Analyst will be responsible for collecting and collating the various sections of the MRM document from the SME team members and partner with Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA) to ensure the final model documentation satisfies the requirement of Model Risk management (MRM).
  • Candidate will also be responsible for conducting stakeholder meetings, track project milestones, all stakeholder coordination and assisting with the submission of the MRM documentation.
Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Math/Statistics, Computer Science, or related analytical field
  • 7+ plus years as a Business Analyst; Agile experience a must
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction
  • Proficient with SQL and prior experience working with client/account and transaction data
  • Excellent relationship, team building and facilitation skills with the ability to proactively navigate complexities of gaining buy-in and driving collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excels at adapting to changing business needs with ability to balance multiple competing priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Communication skills and enjoys a collaborative environment
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about innovation
  • Some previous experience with statistical, machine learning and deep learning techniques
  • Working knowledge of emerging technology solutions including Robotics Process Automation, Data Integration and Visualization, and/or Machine Learning.
Desired Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years experience if worked at BAC; Minimum of 7 years experience required if worked outside BAC
  • Ability to partner with Enterprise Architecture, Line of Business, Global Information Security, and CTO partners to achieve Line of Business technology strategy.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strategic and business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
  • Software engineering, systems integration, and architecture experience.
  • Business acumen; technical expertise and Information Security principles.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify, quantify, and manage technology risk.
  • Highly versed in various SDLC methodologies, including waterfall and agile software development lifecycle.
