Sr Business Systems Analyst

job summary:
Responsibilities will include:

    • Support quarterly learning platform releases to ensure system validation and training compliance with FDA regulations.
    • Collaborate with GIS and expanded learning teams to design and increase capabilities, integrations, and other solutions by analyzing functional requirements, studying and creatively leveraging Illumina's Learning Management System capabilities.
    • Lead cross-functional team members in the implementation of strategic projects and enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support.
    • Own and resolve application issues, engaging additional technical or functional resources as necessary.
    • Monitor and resolve system integrity issues, including various integrations and analytic services.
    • Analyze problems, diagnose them and find root cause, and then either create a fix or partner with a team to collaboratively design a solution.
    • Recreate steps taken by user to locate source problems.
    • Proactively analyze incident records and use data to identify problems.
    • Identify and propose approaches to increase usability.
    • Conduct analysis using a variety of query tools including SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel.

Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise level applications, experience supporting learning management systems a plus.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to business partners, verbally and in writing
    • Change control experience in an FDA regulated environment
    • Experience with translating functional requirements into technical solutions and specifications
    • Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
    • Ability to place questions and problems in the proper context
    • Ability to address problems logically, carefully, and methodically
    • Ability to create and execute test plans
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Hands-on person with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong collaboration skills with global workforce
    • Strong understanding of Workday user integrations and or similar source system, focusing on downstream integration consumers.
    • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management integrations related to training requirements integration.
    • Persistence to pursue problems until they are solved, but also the good judgment to know when to stop and ask questions
