job summary:
Position available for a qualified IT Service Desk Technician, 2nd shift, and must be available to rotate weekends 1x month.
Required Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Minimum 2 years of IT technical service desk / help desk support experience
- Ability to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and diagnosis skills, escalating where appropriate, and using resources efficiently.
- Experience in working with ticketing software to create, escalate and maintain documentation.
- Ability to take ownership of calls and inquiries logged with Desktop Support and update the clients / users on a regular basis.
- Experience supporting user requests for support involving hardware, software, network connectivity, user access and passwords, etc.
