Product Designer

job summary:
Visual Designer needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

Description

We are looking for a designer who, at the core, thrives in defining solutions to complex problems and understands design systems including typography, graphic language and layout.

Duties:

- Contribute to building interactive experiences that are simple and intuitive within a complex environment.

- Design user interfaces for web, mobile and software products.

- Generate and implement designs for prototypes, mock-ups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams.

- Contribute to building our overall design system.

- Help define and implement design guidance and toolkits.

- Identify and work within existing brand guidelines.

- Create designs from concepts to full handoff-ready high-fidelity specs.

- Present and sell design ideas to product group.

- Work closely with a cross functional pod of engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Years of experience required- 4+ years
Design and production skills:

- Strong knowledge of UI and product design (required)

- Comfortable with complex systems and design details

- Experience with UX for the cloud and enterprise software products (highly desired)

- Ability to present concepts to larger design team (highly desired)

- Experience with illustrations and icon/logo design. (highly desired)

- Strong skills in branding. (highly desired)

- Figma proficiency or ability to learn quickly (highly desired)

- BONUS: Familiarity with Microsoft design systems like MWF, Fluent, and Fabric modules and fundamentals.

BONUS: Experience with illustration icon logo design

- BONUS: 3D modeling and rendering experience
