IT Support

job summary:
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Administer and monitor Endpoint Management, Email Systems, Security Management, Antivirus, Spam, Filtering, Patch Management, User Account Management, Internet Access, Computer Systems and Applications Support and Documentation. Assist with VOIP telephone systems technology and implementation.
  • Assist with monitoring and installing upgrades, updates, and patches of hardware/software to latest versions.
  • Provide helpdesk support via phone/ticket system. Identify, research, and resolve issues and escalate when required. Document, track, monitor, and follow-up with internal clients.
  • Set up and configure equipment and handle repairs on existing hardware and equipment.
  • Assist implementation team with technology projects or key firm-wide initiatives.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school program
  • Working towards degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree is desired.
  • Experience with network and service support or related IT experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows (e.g. Windows 7 and 10), MS Office, PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely, including configuration and problem resolution information to end users and peers.
  • Must be passionate about learning new technologies and growing technical skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
