Epic Sr Ambulatory Analyst - w/ Beacon

job summary:
Generates innovative ideas to enhance systems. Analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Reviews proposed hardware/software acquisitions. Recommends items for inclusion in preparation of departmental budget to meet requirements.

Documents technical processes and workflows. Collaborates with the IS Architects to create and maintain technical architecture documentation. Reviews technical documentation for requested applications to ensure standards are met and content is maintained.

Supports assigned applications by working with stakeholders and vendors in analyzing and resolving issues through short term corrective action, root cause analysis and permanent corrective action. Proactively communicates and collaborates with stakeholders. Provides on call support utilizing remote access.

Coordinates internal and external stakeholders in the application testing process. Works with stakeholder to ensure test scripts are up to date and all relevant parties are engaged. Conducts system testing. Documents findings and works to resolve known issues. Coordinates escalation process with the vendor.

Works with departments and training teams to develop and maintain training materials.

Develops, tests and implements analytical tools and reports.
