Randstad is partnering with our client that is expanding its global DevOps and Reliability Platform team in the USA. Working closely with colleagues in the United States, and Moscow, Russia, this team is responsible for creating the next generation of our operational platform infrastructure and delivery of software. salary: $50 - 60 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
Creating and updating technical documentation for internal processes and tools, including but not limited to user manuals, readmes, design specifications, and reference guides
Working alongside technical team to analyze use cases, usage patterns, and feedback from users and observability tools
Implementing, extending, and maintaining processes for managing documentation of internal processes and tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Familiarity with modern technologies and ability to learn fast
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
1+ years working in a cloud environment as technical writer or engineer (application, scripting, or infrastructure automation)
Familiarity with most or all of the following:
o Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o Docker (both operations and creating/maintaining images)
o Kubernetes administration
o Terraform and CloudFormation
o Python scripting language (experience building and maintaining pypi packages preferred)
o Linux and/or Windows systems administration
o Git source code management
o Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
o Configuration management frameworks (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.) a plus
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
