Job Summary

Responsible for working on completing electronic complaint records. Review incoming potential complaint records and complete them as necessary. Assesses the incoming information to determine if the event meets the definition of complaint, if it requires follow up from Clinical Support group and if requires escalation to Regulatory group for adverse event reporting. Work on completing backlog of open complaint files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Responsible for Initial Review of potential complaint records in the electronic Complaint system
  • Working with Technical Service, Clinical Operations on gathering required information to resolve complaint records
  • Identify and escalate Potential Adverse Events to Service, Clinical and Regulatory team.
  • Work collaboratively with the complaints team to ensure clear consistent records.
  • Identify As Reported Code for complaint for monthly complaint analysis.
  • Manages timely communication and follow-up of Critical complaints.
  • Monitor group mailboxes for critical communication (potential complaints) and ensure follow up action is taken
  • Supports complaint process improvement initiative
  • Embody and deliver the "Exceptional Everyday"
Qualifications

Education

  • High School degree or GED required
Experience

  • Minimum 3 years work experience
  • Previous experience in QA or medical device industry preferred but not required
Skills

  • strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Good computer skills, working with MS office, Outlook, Electronic databases
  • Must be comfortable working on the computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to read and write reports with clarity and brevity, and precision
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
