Our client has a 5+ month contract opportunity for a
Senior Java Developer in Rancho Cordova, CA.
Position Overview: The senior software engineer will lead a team of developers responsible for building new and support existing websites. A software engineer's responsibilities may also include:
Working with users to determine their software needs
Designing, developing and testing a system or application according to the users' specifications
Drawing diagrams and models that help developers create the appropriate code for the system or application
Documenting the system or application in detail to help those responsible for future maintenance
Maintaining the system or application with updates and fixes as necessary
Recommending software upgrades for existing systems or applications
Collaborating with developers and other engineers to create software
Provide input to team members to help resolve issues and answer questions related to application program intent, data input, output, and requirements. Lead and contribute to team discussions including design sessions, code reviews, etc. Execute performance optimization and testing. Assist with software release and build management Assist testing and QA teams in setting up test environments and resolve build issues. 10+ Years of experience.
Experience/Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years in Java based software development - engineering - Computer and/or
Required Technical Skills: Java 8
