Randstad Technologies is partnering with one of the largest regional hospitals in the Bay Area to hire for an experiences Financials Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) related to Finance business processes, systems functionality, configuration and capabilities. This position will play a lead role in the implementation and support of systems initiatives and participate in vendor evaluations and assessments. Participate in scheduled systems upgrades, including test plan development, regression/patch testing, and reviewing and prototyping new functionality. Support change management activities, including authoring user documentation and facilitating training sessions.

1. Demonstrates Workday Finance System Knowledge

? Experience in 2 or more areas of Workday including General Ledger, Financial Statements, Accounts Payroll, Fixed Assets, Core Payroll, Supply Chain interface

? Knowledge of Workday product offerings and functional roadmap

maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

? Helps ensure adherence to and compliance with various standards (i.e., TJC, HIPAA, ADA)

7. Critical and Analytical Thinking

? Analyzes user needs to determine scope, plan and design necessary to document/flowchart, configure, test,

troubleshoot and audit programs and operational procedures.

? Generally understands the benefits of various design methodologies and environments.

? Helps implement process improvements to include flowcharting current workflow and propose redesign workflow

in the digital environment.

? Understands user work flows and how to configure systems to achieve the desired outcomes

? Helps evaluate and recommends various process and automated solutions to meet user needs.

? Helps problem-solve when predefined solutions do not exist.

? Researches, assesses and determines downstream impacts and dependencies of recommended solutions.

? Utilizes creative problem-solving skills in identifying and maximizing opportunities with innovation partners (and

potential partners)

8. Change Management

? Follows the process of planning and coordinating changes to system configuration and content, using a standardized

and efficient methodology

? Ensures that system changes are implemented on a timely basis, balanced with minimal disruption of services and

economic use of resources

? Mitigates risk of system changes by conducting sufficient testing, and plans for required resources to be available

for prompt response to any issues or complexities that may arise during the change

? Works closely with partnering teams to communicate the impact and timing of future changes and the notification

of system status, before, during and after downtime windows

? Ensures that planned changes are thoroughly understood, go through proper approval and are applied w/ minimal

impact to standard operations

? Authors user documentation and plans/facilitates end user training sessions

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
  • Workday (4 years of experience is preferred)
  • Peoplesoft
  • System Analyst
