Role Description Summary
The Lab team plays a vital role in the development and certification of Client's Infrastructure. The Technical Writer is responsible for creating templates and documenting the Lab test processes. She/he will own the version control, storage and management of such documents for the Lab team.
Primary Responsibilities / Key Result Areas - Create test process documents by observing Lab engineers as they execute testing
- Create standard templates for test plans, test reports, SoW and other process documents
- Modify existing documents to meet standards
- Create and maintain version control
- Own and manage the storage of all Lab related documents
- Assist Lab engineers with creating test reports when required
Qualification & Experience - 2-5 Years' experience as a technical writer with a focus on documenting processes
- Expert in word processing tools such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat and related products
- Experience with graphics tools such as, but not limited to MS Visio
- Must have experience with documenting test processes by engaging with test engineers and asking relevant questions
- Experience with file storage tools
- Working experience with report generation tools is a major plus
