GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Azure AD Engineer will provide design optimization and Level 3 support for identity issues as well as other initiatives to improve authentication/authorization security. This individual manages, maintains, supports, troubleshoots and optimizes the Azure AD environment and suggests adjustments and new system designs for future needs. This team is responsible for the planning, design and implementation of Azure AD Identities and SSO services using Azure AD, AADConnect, Azure AD privileged access, App registrations and ensuring the environment is supported and resilient. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These are the most significant job duties performed; other responsibilities or assignments not specifically mentioned may also be assigned:

  • Configuration, integration and management of Azure AD Identities, Groups, App Registrations and SSO services.
  • Accept escalations and complete service requests within the established SLAs and provide best practice recommendations
  • Resolve level 2 and 3 problems and issues related to Azure AD.
  • Development and upkeep of documentation relating to company Active Directory environments.
  • Ability to perform long term planning for any environment changes (Change Controls)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This Job has no supervisory responsibilities.
DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This Job has no decision-making responsibilities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 5 or more years of experience managing Azure AD environments.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • In-depth understanding of: Azure AD Identities, Security Groups, Azure AD Roles
  • Experience with Azure App registrations, SAML SSO, Azure Active Directory Connect, Azure Portal Administration
  • Sound experience with Office 365 Management Suite including knowledge of PowerShell
Desirable Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering

  • Experience with VMWare environments
  • Experience with Citrix Environments
  • Experience with Active Directory On-prem

  • Ability to learn internal company software applications for ticketing system.
  • Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications.
