IT Project Manager

job summary:
Summary:

  • Responsible for managing and monitoring project health and adherence to change and policy requirements. Aligned to ~3 ETEC SLT member organizations, responsible for supporting their project managers, program managers & teams to answer questions, perform QA and educate to successfully adhere to Enterprise Change Management standards.
  • Supports regular routines with the key stakeholders. Tracks and works with the team to remediate all program and project data quality issues, ensure permits are acquired, and Tollgates are passed. Will become a subject matter expert in project governance and enterprise change policies and procedures.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Performs Quality Assurance (QA) and provide feedback on all material and non-material changes for aligned SLT members. Creates materials in support of reporting routines.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers as needed on all PMO governance requirements, such as QA Assessments, Tollgates, Permits, Quality Defect Reports and more.
  • Facilitates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective project setup and control.
  • Document best practices and process via Quick Reference Guides and other training materials as needed to effectively improve self-sufficiency of project managers
  • Organize, and monitor project performance using appropriate program management tools and techniques in alignment with corporate change and project management framework
  • Responsible for learning/using the program project reporting tools to track project status, governance milestones and deliverables
  • Build relationships with Project Managers, CSWT PMO, business support team, program leaders and limited inter-department partners to resolve issues and effectively drive outcomes.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize work for multiple stakeholders-
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills. Provide clear, concise direction to the broader team while delivering comprehensive status to project managers, project champions and Portfolio Delivery Leads
  • Project Management experience, preferably working on complex multi-functional programs, ideally with a focus on technology projects and experience using client project methodology and tools (i.e. PPRT, CECE, Remedy)
  • Experience with PMO Governance and Enterprise Change and MRA2 requirements preferred
  • Experience with agile methodologies, routines and tools preferred
