JOB TITLE: Data Scientist
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
At Least 3 years of relevant Data Science experience
Expertise in at least one programming language like Python or R
Strong background in Time-Series Forecasting.
Expertise in econometric modeling.
Expertise in deploying and maintaining data science applications in production
Strong in computer science concepts like threading, multi-processing, lists etc
Expertise with Machine learning and statistical concepts
Working knowledge of boosting trees, regression, classification techniques and hyper-parameter tuning
Working knowledge of experiment design
Working knowledge of Neural-networks and APIs like Tensorflow/ Pytorch/ Keras etc
Working knowledge of loss functions and optimizers
Strong communication and interpersonal influencing skills
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
Master's degree in a quantitative field or in a related field.
Experience in building customer profitability models.
Exposure to survival modeling techniques.
Eight or more years of experience in practicing machine learning and data science in business.
Accomplished researcher and expert in machine learning, neural networks, reinforcement learning and NLP
Established Github page with some ML projects
Familiarity with Scala and Hadoop
Proficient in Python, Spark, SQL, Linux shell scripting.
Strong experience in Big Data and Cloud technology.
Strong Business acumen with exposure to NPV modeling and P&L related concepts.
Business Analytics Center of Excellence (BA CoE) is at the heart of Digital Finance vision focusing on solving most critical challenges using Data, Advanced Analytics, AI, and Automation. You will be joining the Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics team within BACOE that is focussed on providing wide variety of ML and optimization solutions in Credit and Marketing Investments including Loan Decisions, Promotions and Pricing by applying advanced analytics techniques
This role involves working in a complex, multi-functional, Agile team environment with other data scientists and data engineers to develop and productionize analytics solutions. As a Data Scientist on the team you will work side-by-side with an experienced team to develop cutting edge AI/ML Models and solutions to tackle some of biggest challenges.
This person will be responsible for modeling for new and ongoing projects under Corporate Finance.
Work closely with engineers to deploy models in production both in real time and in batch process and systematically track model performance
Package data science code and programs built by BA CoE teams as applications, to make them ready for production deployment; support deployment applications working with IT partners
Support data science projects that provide innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes
Contribute to research and development of AI/ML techniques and technology that fuels the business innovation and growth of
Build strong influence both among AI/ML community and with senior business leaders and actively promote the effective applications of AI/ML technology
Bachelors (preferably in Computer Science or Statistics)
