Compliance Analyst

job summary:
Looking for several Analyst's preferably with compliance experience for two month contracts.

This role is for one or our best financial clients with offices in Southern New Jersey, Southern Maine and South Carolina.

Candidates can work remotely from home but should be located in the eastern half of the US

Start Date: March 8

End Date: April 30

Candidates be available right away and a known resource that has performed well at one of our clients in the past. Candidates must commit to 8 hours a day, five days a week for the length of the contract as this is an important regulatory deadline that our client must hit. The most important part of the qualifications for this role is that the candidate is reliable and will commit to the full length of the contract.

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This contractor will be performing research à Non profit organization mission statements

-Provide a range of operational process support within a defined functional area.

-Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations as well as existing and emerging

-Compliance risk across the business.

-May support implementation activities related to initiatives, including the development of and maintaining enterprise Compliance programs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CUSTOMER:

- Perform routine to broad tasks, follow established procedures, and investigate straightforward problems to identify and implement the most suitable solution

-Perform a variety of Compliance information gathering activities as a part of Compliance regulations

-Providing support of Compliance related activities and transactions to resolve business issues

-Act as a key resource / specialist owner or representative by providing technical subject matter expertise / analysis or operational process support on Compliance matters Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives

-Run and review information against various lists/guidelines to check for accuracy and flag potential deviations and unusual activity

-Develop and execute on Compliance reporting functions and/or produce consolidated or aggregated reporting as appropriate

SHAREHOLDER:

-Contribute to various activities and processes as assigned

-Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for own business area

-Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate

-Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area

-Protect the interests of the organization identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessary

-Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience

-Conduct reporting and / or meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices

-Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exists

-Acquire and apply expertise in the discipline, provide guidance, assistance and direction to others Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline

-Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts

-Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

-May lead work streams by acting as a project lead / subject matter expert for small scale projects / initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies

Skills:

-Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

-Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

-Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.

-Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.

-Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.

-Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software

MUST HAVE:
