Help Desk Analyst

Our client has a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Help Desk Analyst

The Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for processing Service Desk requests from corporate users. Will need strong communication, technical and documentation skills for the oversight of ticket resolution. This is a role which requires strict attention to detail and the ability to multitask. It is highly preferred that this individual currently has and will maintain an understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within an IT department.

  • Answering IT Service Desk calls
  • Documenting the customer's Request in the NJM ticketing system
  • Assignment of Work Orders when warranted
  • Creation of Incident tickets when warranted
  • Providing status to customer
  • Strict adherence to corporate organizational policies and procedures
  • Shift: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • General understanding of IT concepts, practices, and principles
  • Experience with managing of customer requests
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Have at least 3+ continuous years' experience answering calls
  • Pleasant phone manners
  • Be versed in Windows 10 and above
  • Office 365
  • Remote desktop experience
  • Assisting remote users with VPN and CITRIX issues
  • Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of ticketing software
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Education: Associates
