What you'll be doing: - Liaise with internal teams (i.e. Developers, Project Managers, and Senior Management) to identify system requirements
- Document new application features and requirements
- Identify, report and document bugs
- Write test documentation and API documentation
- Manage automated functional/end-to-end tests including regression testing of restful API's
- Oversee web/mobile testing and writing automated regression tests of UI's
- Accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery of software
- Remain up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
The Ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, advanced degree a plus
- Prior Logistics/Supply Chain experience
3+ years of: - Hands on QA testing
- Professional technical writing
- Testing with Postman/Swagger/Open API/UI or similar rest testing software package
- JavaScript/Typescript/Node/Java or other professional software development
Strong understanding of: - Rest endpoints and their requirements
- Open API documentation and Restful API testing software
- Evaluating Bugs and documentation for new features as well as documenting API's
- Test Design (test scenarios, test cases and coverage), Test Execution, Test Reporting, Defects Tracking and Analysis
Experience with: - Testing and consuming restful micro-services, and UI's written as single page applications (SPA)
- Logistics with demonstrated knowledge in the Supply Chain and Transportation field
- Automation tools like Selenium
- Version control systems, CI/CD pipeline tools, workflow tools, Jenkins, etc.
- Scrum/Agile/Sprint methodologies and software such as Jira
- Writing test cases
- Developing automation scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria
