Randstad Technolgoes is looking for a Deskside Support Technician in Richmond, VA for a long term contract position. Position will be working entirely remotely until which time the Covid-19 is resolved and we are allowed back in the office.
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
The Deskside Support Technician is responsible for completing all in scope support services, including but not limited to, break-fixes, new system installation, asset moves, software installations, software and hardware upgrades, as well as the tracking of assets. Under the supervision of the Service Delivery Manager, the technician is expected to follow established operational standards and must be completely focused on providing outstanding customer service to employees.

The technician should also be able to do the following: 1) Break-fix repairs, including ordering parts 2) Application software support 3) Peripheral Support 4) Malware and Virus repairs 5) Hardware and Software Configuration Changes 6) Application software installations and support 7) Engage vendors or technical resources for assistance 8) Document issue resolution 9) Apple iPhone Support 10) MUST BE A+ CERTIFIED, Needs Apple Macbook knowledge.
