We are looking for a passionate Application Security Engineer to join our team! Your primary focus is to ensure that the HealthEquity Technology platform is secure by design and to guide software delivery teams. You will be a key contributor to direct security architecture and design for a talented engineering team working closely with the business team to deliver value. You will work closely with all scrum teams, and information security to deliver high quality, high-value company initiatives. You'll have an integral part in helping the company enhance its platform to secure our members and partners data, reduce costs, increase revenue and improve system scalability.

Create, and/or maintain the SDL; provide on-going support to the teams for adherence to the SDL Act as liaison between InfoSec and SDD SCRUM teams Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with the SDL Conduct static and dynamic code analysis using industry standard tools to support product release cycles Evaluate, track, and ensure compliance of high and critical vulnerabilities; develop, maintain and update metrics to reflect vulnerabilities and communicate to teams and team leaders. Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities Contribute to all levels of the architecture Maintain technical documentation Support security audits Educate team members on secure coding practices Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices Actively participate in the Security Guild
